Polymorph provides consulting and guidance on polymer materials. Final decisions about materials, suppliers, processes and products are made by the client and remain the client’s responsibility. This page explains what that means and supplements our Terms of Use.
Advice, not decisions
Our recommendations are based on the information the client provides, manufacturers’ data, and generally accepted professional knowledge at the time. They support a decision; they do not replace the judgment of the client, its engineers, or its approval process.
Client responsibility
The client is responsible for, among other things:
- The final choice of material, supplier and manufacturing process.
- Testing, trials and validation of the material and product under real operating and use conditions, before mass production and before release to market.
- Compliance with standards, regulations, safety requirements and its own customers’ requirements.
- The accuracy and completeness of the information it provides, including requirements, drawings and operating conditions.
- Any damage, loss, cost or claim arising from the use of the selected material, product or process.
Third-party materials and products
Polymorph does not manufacture, sell or distribute materials. Quality, availability, batch-to-batch consistency and formulation changes are the responsibility of manufacturers and suppliers. Data from technical (TDS) and safety (SDS) data sheets is passed on as published by the manufacturer.
No guaranteed outcome
The behavior of chemicals and polymer materials in general depends on many factors, including design, processing, environment, load and time. We therefore do not guarantee a specific result, except where stated explicitly in the quote, such as our money-back guarantee.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polymorph’s total liability in connection with a project will not exceed the fees paid for that project. Polymorph will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost profits, production downtime, recalls or reputational harm.
Website content
The content of this website is general information only and is not professional advice for any specific case. Do not rely on it without reviewing your specific situation.
The agreement prevails
For every project, the signed agreement or quote governs. If this page conflicts with the agreement, the agreement prevails.
